Works to Kelvin Gate was on a multi-level residential apartment block with large, enclosed courtyard. Eternit fibre cement was used in various points on the building façade which LCS had to remove to bare blockwork, install fire barriers and re-install the cladding using the existing support framework.

The small void between the cladding and blockwork required specialised Siderise cavity barriers. There was a large overhang to the roof void which was sealed off with Versaroc Cement Board and full filled with fire barriers at all compartment wall locations. Decking was consistent throughout the site and replaced.
